Day 1

Arrival and Reykjavík

A driver will greet you at Keflavík International Airport and take you to your hotel in Reykjavík.

Day 2

Þórsmörk Valley

Pick up at accommodation in Reykjavík in the morning. Þórsmörk is Located in between the three glaciers and with sharp mountains formed in an eruption under the glacier. On our way to Þórsmörk we drive along the roots of Eyjafjallajökull the glacier that erupted in 2010, we cross the glacial rivers and take shorter hikes into the canyons along the route. In Þórsmörk we do also take shorter hikes. Drop of at accommodation in Hvolsvöllur area.

Day 3

Landmannalaugar

Pick up at your accommodation in Hvolsvöllur at 10am. On the tour to Landmannalaugar we do drive along the roots of Hekla. In Landmannalaugar there is a possibility of a hike into the lava field and up to Brennisteinsalda. Thereafter you are able to hop into the hot geothermal outdoor bath. Drop of at nearby hotel.

Day 4

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Pick up at the hotel, we will visit Skaftafell National Park, we will take shorter hikes, for example hike to the beautiful waterfall Svartifoss and afterwards visit The Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. We will end the day at your accommodation in Hvolsvöllur area.

Day 5

The Golden Circle

Pick up at your accommodation in Hvolsvöllur where we will drive back west to visit the most popular tourist sites: Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir National Park, at each places we will stop for around 20-30 minutes. Accommodation in the area.

Day 6

Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Early morning we drive further west across the Borgarfjörður region to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This is sometimes called mini Iceland and is a great inspiration for writers and photographers. The Snæfellsnes glacier is the setting for Jules Vernes “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. At the end of the day we drive to the capital, Reykjavik. were we stay the last night.
