West and South Luxury Tour

Day 1

Arrival and Snæfellsnes Peninsula

A driver will greet you at Keflavík International Airport and take you on a whole day sightseeing tour around the Snæfellsnes area.

Day 2

The Fjords of the West

Early morning, you will take the Ferry across the Breiðafjörður Bay to the Westfjords. The crossing takes about 2.5 hours. At Brjánslækur, you will be picked up by your private driver/guide. Your visit during this adventurous day with a private local guide includes a visit to Rauðisandur beach and Látrabjarg cliffs on the southern part of the fjords.

Day 3

From Ísafjörður to The Golden Circle

After breakfast at your hotel in Ísafjörður, you are due for your flight to Reykjavík. Luggage allowance is 20kg per person.
You will be picked up by your private guide/driver at noon and he will take you to the Golden Circle area ending at your hotel in the South.

Day 4

The South Coast

You will be picked up by your private driver/guide and you will explore many of the South Coast natural wonders such as waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black beaches and lava formations. Pickup time is around 9am and the guide will tell you about the geology and many of the natural catastrophes caused by the many volcanoes in the region. You will also experience the rich bird life in the coastal areas.

Day 5

Fjallabak to Reykjavík

Today will be a long and very special day as you will be traveling through the wilderness to the famous Landmannalaugar area in the Southern Highlands. You will cross un-bridged rivers and travel across the wilderness. Your final destination is Reykjavík where you will spend the last night in a luxury hotel.

Day 6

Departure and The Blue Lagoon

Our private driver will pick you up for your flight back to the US.

Depending on your flight time, you can stop at Bláa Lónið (popularly referred to by its English name “the Blue Lagoon”). Soak in its warm, therapeutic water for a few hours before heading on to the airport to catch your flight home.
