We were absolutely captivated by the Puffin colony that was only five kilometers from the town. It was just amazing.
We had an amazing trip. We will never forget the experiences we had.
All of the planning was fantastic. Bjorg and everyone at Nordika Travel was prompt, courteous, and professional. Everyone went out of their way to help us.
The planning was just amazing. We really couldn't appreciate how much time and work went into our trip until we experienced it. Nordika sent us the Road Atlas and Map, and we downloaded their fantastic app that gave us amazing information. We were well informed, and the sites were just incredible. After only a day, we were well oriented with the GPS, the hot spot, and all of the data that Nordika provided us. My anxiety about going to a non English speaking country alone vanished after only a day.
Every hotel was clean, and accommodating. We did not have one bad experience from any hotel. Hotel Budir and Hotel Mytvan were especially amazing, though we really were thrilled with all of the lodging.
The breakfasts were fantastic. The food was fresh, delicious, and more than ample. We really only had two meals daily.
We booked three additional tours, and they were all incredible. Our tour of Borgenfiorder (forgive spelling) was just fantastic. Our guide spent limitless time with us. He was just so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were absolutely captivated by the Puffin colony that was only five kilometers from the town. It was just amazing.
The lagoon boat tour was also fantastic and accommodating. We were right on time for the wrong tour!! As a consequence, we missed our boat. They booked us on the first boat the next day. Since it wasn't far from our hotel, it was actually better for us. It could not have been more memorable or accommodating.
Our day with Icelandic Adventures was also incredible. So accommodating, patient, prepared, and kind. We loved our guide, our lunch, and our bath. Infinite stars!!
The Icelandic people were so nice. We saw so many beautiful and exciting sites that my descriptions of each would be beyond an email. We especially loved the West and the North.
